Heather preparing a urine sample for urinalysis. During the day we prepare a lot of samples for various tests. In this area heartworm tests, fecal exams, ear cytology, lump cytology, blood profiles and urinalysis are prepared.

Here Beth is running blood chemistries. Our in-hospital lab runs CBC's (complete blood counts) and chemistry panels (kidney function, liver enzymes, and blood glucose, to name a few). These tests are run pre-surgically, for anesthetic risk assessment, annually for "well pet exams" and diagnostically on sick pets.

Here is another view of the labratory which also offers a viewing screen that connects directly to one of the microscopes to allow clients to view the specimens, such as mites or parasites that their pet was diagnosed with.

Dr. Lee is performing a spay procedure as Becky monitors anesthesia. All surgeries are performed within a sterile surgical field using the latest methods. Laser surgery is performed when indicated. State of the art monitoring equipment will assist the doctor and technician in safely monitoring your pet.

Here Dr. Aubry performs a procedure on a patient. He is using the laser to remove a lesion on this dog's (Bobby's) front leg. The technician is monitoring anesthesia. Bobby will be awake in about 20 minutes post-surgically and ready to go home by late afternoon.

This is our second surgical suite which was just added a few years ago and includes the latest surgical and monitoring equipment. Outside the surgical suite is two new treatment areas as well as many new recovery units.

Here Julie & Sharon are drawing blood for one of the many profiles Brighton Animal Hospital offers. We offer many profiles we can run in-house as well as panels sent to outside labs. This area is where most blood draws, nail trims, ear cleanings and non-surgical treatments take place.

This is the conference room where our highly qualified staff will contact clients as well as research any questions or concerns you may have regarding your pet.

This is our comfort room - an additional exam room located in a quiet area of the clinic where we perform humane euthanasia, in which the owner may be present for the procedure if they would like to.

Here is another view in the comfort room. This room allows you to take as much time as you like with your pet before and after the procedure. There is a direct line to our staff should you need us at anytime. There is also a private entrance and exit to this room if you would like to use it.
